Ours cover the blood vessels that run close to the surface on the inside of your wrist, closing that annoying cold gap between sleeve and glove, which makes a real difference if you have Raynaud's. Wear them on their own to keep your fingers free for fiddly tasks like tying crampon straps or using your phone, and layer your gloves on top when you need to.
