Returns and refunds
Can I return an item?
Yes. We accept unworn, unused items with their original tags (if applicable) within 30 days of delivery, as long as they are in a saleable condition. Please use the original packaging if you can.
How do I return an item?
Email us at info@vertura.co.uk to request the returns address. Please do not send returns to our business address, as we are currently unable to receive parcels there. Once we have received your item we will refund your payment account within 14 days, and we will let you know when it is done.
Do you do free returns?
We do not charge a returns fee, but you will need to cover the cost of return postage. If your return takes your order below the free delivery threshold, we will deduct the cost of delivery from your refund.
My item arrived faulty or damaged, what now?
We are sorry to hear that. This is exactly what our Peace of Mind Guarantee is for. Email us at info@vertura.co.uk and tell us what is wrong, and we will send you a free returns label. Once we have the item back we will repair it, replace it, or refund you in full including any delivery charges.
Can I return something in person?
Vertura is an online only brand, so there is no shop to come to. Get in touch and we will give you the returns address.
It has been more than 30 days but I am unhappy with my product, can you help?
We really do not want you to be unhappy. Get in touch and we will see what we can do.
Delivery
Delivery costs, timings and the countries we ship to are all on the delivery page.
Sizing
Body measurements for the technical range are on the size chart. Printed cotton is cut to a different standard, so it has its own tops and hoodies size chart.

Isn't Ronnie a man's name?
Well sometimes, but in this case it's short for Veronica.
Will there be a bigger range of clothing any time soon?
Yes! We're just getting started. Making technical clothing takes time: there's fabric sourcing and testing, designing, fitting, more testing, finding a manufacturing partner and so much more to do before we can make everything we have planned. But we have to start somewhere, and we're happy that you're here with us on this journey.
Why don't you do men's clothing too?
Because there are hundreds of brands out there doing that already, so there are plenty of options for men. Less so for women, which is where Vertura comes in.
Will you ever do men's clothing?
No. Sorry not sorry.
Where can I buy Vertura products?
Right here on our website, or if you are in the UK you can find most of our product range in Outside (Hathersage, Peak District), The Climbers Shop (Ambleside, Lake District) and Joe Brown in Capel Curig.
We're on the look out for technical independent retailers who really know their stuff, so if you're interested, get in touch!
Where are you based?
We are in the UK. We know lots of you live elsewhere, and we're keen to be able to serve you all. If we don't ship to where you live yet, please keep in touch as we will expand to reach you as soon as we can.
Are your products sustainable?
That's a big question! You could argue that making anything that uses the planet's resources is no longer sustainable. We believe in making things better, not just making more things. That means durable clothing that performs as needed for as long as possible.
We are trying to limit our impact by focussing on making products in as responsible a way as possible. This includes considering our choice of materials (e.g. organic cotton), method of manufacture (e.g. using renewable energy), and efficiency of operations. Where possible we offer end-of-life solutions for our products so that they can be recycled or repurposed, which further reduces their impact.
