There's nothing worse than a cold backside and legs when you're active in cold conditions, whether that's running, hiking, climbing or skiing. Enter the Thermal Power Leggings.

Not all leggings are created equal. Our pet peeve with baselayer leggings is elasticated waistbands that dig in, scratchy labels on the inside, and cold clingy fabric. We set out to solve these problems to make the ultimate cold weather technical fleece legging.

The Thermal Power Leggings are thick, soft and fleecy on the inside to keep your legs warm, with the fabric working hard to move moisture away from your skin to keep you comfortable. They are super stretchy, with a high rise to keep the warmth in (no chilly gaps between layers) but the elastic-free waistband won’t dig in. We’ve made sure of that. And if you prefer a lower rise, you can fold down the waistband to suit.

Wear them on their own for a winter walk or run, and simply add layers over the top as the weather dictates if you're heading higher into the mountains. They are so comfy you can even sleep in them if you have to!

FAQs

Q: If I'm between sizes according to the measurements chart, what size should I buy?

A: The leggings are quite stretchy, so most women find the smaller size works for them if they are between sizes and want a true next-to-skin fit.

Q: I'm short/long in the leg, will they fit me?

A: They are designed for an average women's inside leg measurement of 31" (79cm). Exactly where they sit will depend on how long your legs are.

Q: How warm are they?

A: The million dollar question! It depends how hard you are working, and if you are wearing them on their own or as a thermal baselayer. You decide...

Q: Are there any pockets?

A: No, in order to keep the weight low and the construction simple enough to layer.

Q: Is there a drawcord in the waistband?

A: No, because we've found they dig in or get tangled. The fabric's natural stretch should adapt to your shape.

Q: Where are they made?

A: In Portugal

  • Made in Portugal

Sewn in a modern, sustainably minded factory who invest in energy efficiency, waste reduction and optimised production processes. Combining technological innovation with practices that respect the environment and people, they truly understand what it means to produce clothing in a responsible way.

  • Premium Portuguese Fabric

With a long standing tradition in clothing, the Portuguese textile industry produces fabrics of the highest quality. Our supplier uses technical nylon fibre for the face, and super soft polyester for the back and blends with just enough elastane to create stretch without holding on to excess moisture, which creates the perfect fabric for our leggings.

  • Reduced carbon footprint

By choosing to produce both the fabric and finished garments in Portugal, we're able to greatly reduce the amount of carbon used in transportation. It's not uncommon for fabric to be made thousands of miles from the factory; ours is made just 20 minutes down the road. Transporting goods from Portugal overland instead of by sea or air also reduces emissions.
